Order Timeline

I handcraft all products within 3-7 business days. Most with up-cycled materials are ready for shipping. This may vary during busy periods, including holidays.

Handmade Disclaimer

The product you receive might vary slightly from the product picture due to the nature of your product being 100% handmade to order, the pattern repeat or dye lot of the fabric being used.

Pattern placement may vary, especially when dealing with limited yardage or discontinued fabrics in our Limited Editions collections.

If you are unsure of color or fabric texture I highly recommend you contact me directly to be absolutely sure your fabric choices will work for you. Computer Monitors and Mobile Devices are notoriously inaccurate in for displaying accurate colors.

Care of Products

  • All products are Dry Clean Only, unless otherwise noted

  • Do NOT use bleach

  • Do NOT use cleaning chemicals - this includes "freshening" or "spot removal" products, These Items may cause spotting and damage fabrics.

Your product can be damaged if:

  • If left in or displayed in window areas of the home your product will fade & have possible fiber damage occurs from excessive sunshine on fabric.

  • Left outdoors in the sun, it will fade & fabric will breakdown.

  • Zippers can be damage if "FORCED" - Be gentle with your zippers if you encounter resistance, back up the zipper head & make sure nothing is caught in the zipper. The compress the cover and form - placing the teeth closer together and try again to move the zipper head forward. I do use a commercial weight of zipper and test them before sending them out.

  • Please treat your home decor products with love and care, the home decor fabrics are made to withstand "normal" wear and tear. However, treat them lovingly and they will provide with years of beauty.


I currently ship through the following carriers.

  • USPS, UPS, and Fedex

  • at present time I ONLY ship to the United States. Contact me directly for out of Country Shipping.

  • We will not ship through private shipping companies or 2nd party shippers.

In Studio Pickup

If you are local, in the Tulsa, OK - Metro area and would like to pick up in my studio, please select that option in the shipping section.


Selecting expedited shipping during checkout does not ensure a faster processing time. Your product may still need 7 business days to be handmade.

Postal Delays

Delays caused by the postal system are beyond the control of the Teal Leopard.

Expect shipping delays around the holidays.

Lost Packages

Once your item is made, carefully packaged and mailed to you, it is not longer the responsibility of the Teal Leopard. I cannot accept responsibility for lost or stolen packages, or incorrect mailing addresses resulting in failed delivery.


I gladly accept returns, exchanges and cancellations. (detailed requirements listed below.)

  • Contact me within: 14 days of delivery.

  • Ship items back within: 21 days of delivery

  • Request a cancellation within: 24 HOURS of purchase.

The following items cannot be returned or exchanged

  • Personalized items - unless they arrive damaged or defective.

  • Pillow Inserts - Once Inserts are purchased they are considered: USED. Used Inserts MUST by law be go through a sterilized and disinfected process, that I as an independent maker do NOT have access too. I buy our Inserts from a licensed registered manufacturer.

  • Gift Cards

  • Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons NOT due to our error.

  • Any item that has been exposed to cigarette smoke/odor or any other strong or extremely fragrant odor. Fabrics have a very long ODOR memory and many times the odor cannot be removed and thus cannot be resold.

  • Any Item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery.

  • Sale Items


Our policy lasts 14 days. If 14 days have gone by since receipt of your purchase, verified by tracking information, unfortunately I cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

Please let me know, immediately, that there is a problem with your order.

Items damaged in shipping must be dealt with by the shipping carrier. Once your package is in the hands of the shipping carrier, I am not responsible for carrier handling and damage.


Once your return item is received and inspected, I will send you an email to notify you that I have received your returned item. I will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or Missing Refunds

If you haven't received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.

Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.

Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.

Sale Items

Only regularly priced items may be refunded, unfortunately sale items cannot be refunded.


My Company only replace items if they are defective or arrive with damage NOT the result of shipping service. If you need to exchange it for the same item, first send me an email @ and if the exchange is approved, I will notify you of the return mailing address.

Shipping Returns

Contact me first for approval of return. Without my personal approval, returns will NOT be accepted. You will be provided with the return mailing address.

You will be responsible for paying your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.

Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you, may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75.00, you should consider using a track-able shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We do not guarantee that we will received your returned item, and accept no liability or responsibility for lost packages.
